Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Snap2Sheet web application at snap2sheet.com ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Snap2Sheet is a web-based tool that allows restaurant workers to photograph paper invoices and have line-item data (vendor, description, quantity, unit price, total) automatically extracted using AI and written to the user's own Google Sheets spreadsheet. Invoice images are stored in the user's own Google Drive.

2. Account Requirements

To use Snap2Sheet, you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

By signing in, you authorize Snap2Sheet to access your Google Sheets and Google Drive on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Snap2Sheet only for its intended purpose: scanning and extracting data from legitimate business invoices. You may not:

4. Usage Limits

Snap2Sheet offers tiered usage limits based on your subscription plan:

Scan counts reset at the beginning of each billing period. When you reach your scan limit, further uploads will be rejected until your count resets or you upgrade your plan. There is no overage billing; limits are hard caps.

5. Data Ownership

You own all data in your Google Drive and Google Sheets. Snap2Sheet does not claim any ownership, intellectual property rights, or license over your invoice images, extracted data, or any content in your Google account.

We process your invoice images solely to provide the extraction service. We do not sell, share, or use your data for any purpose other than delivering the Service to you.

6. Accuracy and Verification

Snap2Sheet uses AI to extract data from invoice images. While we strive for high accuracy, AI extraction is not perfect. Low-confidence items are highlighted in your spreadsheet for manual review. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of extracted data before relying on it for financial decisions, accounting, or tax purposes.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Snap2Sheet available at all times, but we provide the Service on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee any specific uptime or service level agreement (SLA). The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control, including outages of third-party services (Google APIs, Anthropic API, hosting providers).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.

8. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly. Payment processing will be handled through a third-party payment provider. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable rate until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snap2Sheet and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted data will be accurate or complete.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking Snap2Sheet's access from your Google Account settings.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Snap2Sheet operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
